RUN WOD EAT!


SATURDAY 14th APRIL

We have been talking about having a social gathering and doing the Hove Park 5k time trial for a while now so we thought we would put them both together.

The plan is to meet at Hove Park about 8.45am wearing our Crossfit Connect t-shirts and hoodies (nothing like a bit of advertising!). We will participate in the Park Run and then move to a suitable area in the park to smash out a WOD. The folks at Park Run record your times for you and send you an email to let you know how you got on.

After all your hard work it will then be time to head home, shower and change as we will be meet back at the box for the BBQ and drinks at 1pm. It would be great if as many people could make it to the box as possible as we'd like to get Nero to grab a photo of all of us together to celebrate our first year in business. Current members or not, come on down!

To be able to enter the 5k run you will need to register in advance and print out a barcode.
Registration must be done by 6pm on the Friday before the run.

We hope you can all make it. If you are not keen on the run, feel free to join us for the WOD at the park afterwards which will start at 10am. And there are always a few hundred people doing the Park Run so parking is always pretty tough. It would be best to ride, walk or bus it.

Bring a dish and drink along to the BBQ (paleo friendly...or not!) and now lets all cross our fingers and hope for sunshine!
